Pulsatilla, also called Windflower or Prairie crocus, is hardy to zone 4-9. A herbaceous perennial that flowers white or purple early in the spring then developes feathery pumes/seedheads. It grows 8 to 10 inches tall. Full sun to partial shade in good draining soil. Slower growing plant. Refrigerate seed for 3 months before planting or simply put outdoors in the fall for spring emergence. If planting indoors- after the cold cycle- press on top of moist soil and keep moist and they will sprout anywhere from 30 to 90 days. A slow grower, but long lived once established. It takes two seasons before it will flower. You will receive SEEDS. (The picture in the little pot is what they look like as a seedling). 30 seeds per pkt.
