Savage Gardeners Sarracenia chelsonii is a cross between Sarracenia Purpurea and Sarracenia Rubra. The deep red coloration of rubra is combined with a wide pitcher opening of purpurea to form a whimsically shaped lid. Your new plant is a small plants that fit well in a 2.5" pot. It has been carefully grown for the last two years and is now a good size for carnivorous plant enthusiasts. It is small enough that it will come with its pitchers on, although there's a chance they could get damaged in transit. Growing instructions will be included. Shipping, Soil & Pots Your plant will be shipped with its roots carefully wrapped in a damp paper towel. If you choose to add on soil and pots, you will receive a carnivorous-plant-safe 2.5" square plastic containers and a bag with enough of my custom carnivorous soil mix to fill it.
