These marigolds will literally bloom for months on end!* French marigolds are great for hanging baskets, pots and as a bedding plant, and might have the added benefit of warding off mosquitoes and gnats in the landscape! * The French Marigold is a rich source of nectar for the dwindling population of pollinators and beneficial insects. * The French Marigold is most commonly used in Butterfly Gardens because it's reported to be highly effective in attracting Butterflies. * Dried leaves and flowers are used medicinally in a lot of cultures. The whole herb is reported to be aromatic, diuretic, sedative and digestive.
