Black Bat (Tacca chantrieri) has all the majestic foliage and bat-like flower just like its cousin White Bat (Tacca integrifolia) but the flower is a brilliant black. Above the dark purple flowers, the plant grows two upright black petals that resemble bat wings and whisker-like strands that can grow up to a foot long.
