It is ideal for low water usage. In spring it will bloom with purple/pink flowers. In the winter when there are no flowers, the green leaves look very cute and fluffy, looking like a green lawn from a distance.To allow the cutting to take root and grow, bury the lower 1/3 of the cutting in the potting soil or in the ground. Keep the soil moist and new shoots and roots will begin to grow in a few weeks. The plant loves sunlight and grows well in very dry and hot environments. While it adapts well to a variety of soil types, it prefers well-drained soil and even rocky terrain.These freshly cut, organic, healthy, attractive succulents are stunningly beautiful and incredibly easy to grow. Plant the succulent cuttings in a pot with drainage holes filled with a mixture of half regular potting soil and half succulent potting mix.
