Ficus Palmata N1 is a unique variety of fig with beautiful heart shaped leaves and yellow/green figs with sweet jammy red color interior. Ficus Palmata is an edible variety of fig also called Punjab figs or Wild Himalayan figs. This variety is vigorous and produces delicious figs. Since we live in an area with the fig wasps, we can not say for certain if this fig variety requires the fig wasp for pollination or if it is a self fertile common fig. Fig trees are easy to grow from cuttings. We use the "fig pop" rooting method to root fig cuttings, and have around 80%-90% success rate without rooting hormone.
